Our Story
Someone close to me needed something that didn't exist. So I made it.
My fiancée Chelsea is a project manager at a medical device company and the hardest worker I know. The drive that got her there came with a cost. She couldn't shut off after work. Most nights, we'd spend over an hour unpacking her day. It wasn't helping.
One night during our usual rant session, something clicked. I'd been into journaling and psychology for years. What if I created a guided journal specifically for this problem? Something to help her process her workday so it could actually stay at work.
I knew it had to be guided because blank notebooks create too much friction. You stare at an empty page, don't know where to start, so you don't. It also had to be analog. We're drowning in screens and subscriptions already. The last thing anyone needs is another app.
Building it took months. I tested over 150 different prompts with Chelsea, keeping what worked and cutting what didn't. Eventually I had 10 prompts that consistently made a difference. Then I expanded testing to other stressed professionals in my life. The best reactions came from the skeptics. People who thought journaling was woo-woo tried it and came back saying "wait, this actually works."
After a couple weeks of using it consistently, Chelsea told me the journal completely changed her evenings and that she couldn't imagine not using it every night. She said that even if I never sold this to anyone else, the time spent building it was worth it just to fix her work-life balance.
When I saw that transformation, I knew other people needed this too. I built this because someone I care about couldn't switch off after work. If that sounds familiar, give it a try. Best case, you completely transform the 128 hours you aren't working each week. Worst case, we'll refund you.
